Terms and Conditions
Last updated September 21, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Fig Plug when you use the site to browse, buy, sell, bid or trade. They're written to be read. If something here isn't clear, ask us before relying on it.
Who we are
Fig Plug is a marketplace operated by [Legal business name, e.g. Fig Plug LLC] ("Fig Plug", "we", "us"). We provide the site, payments, shipping labels and messaging. We are not the seller of items listed by other members, and we never take ownership of them.
Your account
You must be at least 18 to sell, bid or trade. People under 18 may browse and buy only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on their behalf. Fig Plug is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Keep your login private — you're responsible for what happens on your account. Give us accurate details, including a real shipping address. One person, one account.
Guest checkout is available for buying. Placing an order as a guest means you agree to these terms.
How we collect and use your information is covered in the Privacy Policy.
Buying
Buying is a commitment. When your payment goes through, the item is yours and the seller must ship it.
Sellers set their prices. Shipping is either free (paid by the seller) or charged at checkout as shown on the listing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Fig Plug never sees or stores your full card number.
Read the listing and look at the photos. If you're unsure about condition, ask the seller in Messages before you buy.
Prices are shown without sales tax. Where the law requires it, sales tax is worked out for your delivery address and added before you pay. Fig Plug collects that tax and pays it to the state, because marketplace rules make the marketplace responsible for it rather than the individual seller.
Selling
Describe every item accurately: pick the condition grade that honestly fits (New, or Used from Like new down to For parts), any damage or missing pieces, and whether it's official, printed, painted, custom or a replica. Every listing needs at least two real photos of the actual item.
Only list items you own and can ship. Don't list something you've already sold somewhere else.
Fig Plug charges a fee of 10% of the item price on each sale, taken out of what you're paid. Shipping charged to the buyer isn't subject to the fee. If you offer free shipping, the postage for any label you buy through Fig Plug is charged to your saved card when you create the label.
Sales tax on your sales is handled by Fig Plug, not by you. It's added to what the buyer pays, it never forms part of your payout, and we file it. Your own income taxes are still yours to deal with, and Stripe reports your earnings to the IRS where the law requires.
To sell, you need payout details set up. Payments are processed by Stripe: you open a Stripe account through Fig Plug, and Stripe pays your share into your bank account. Stripe's own agreement covers that account, and you'll need to give them your bank details and proof of identity before you can be paid.
Your share of a sale is sent to your Stripe account when the buyer pays, and Stripe then pays it out to your bank on its own schedule, usually within a few business days. Payouts can be delayed or held if Stripe needs more information from you, or while an order is disputed.
If an order is refunded, your share is taken back and the 10% fee is returned to you as well, in proportion to the amount refunded. Fig Plug doesn't keep a fee on a sale that was undone.
You must ship on time and follow the Shipping Policy.
Verified sellers have had their identity and payout details checked. We can grant, review or remove verification at any time.
Auctions
Bids are binding. If you win, you're buying the item.
You need a saved card to bid. When an auction ends, the winner's card is charged automatically for the winning bid plus any shipping.
Each bid must beat the current bid by at least the minimum increment shown. A bid placed in the last two minutes extends the auction by two minutes, so an auction can't be won by last-second sniping.
Sellers may set a hidden reserve price. If bidding ends below it, the item doesn't sell and nobody is charged.
Sellers may not bid on their own auctions, directly or through another account. Nobody may bid to push up a price they don't intend to pay. Either one gets an account removed.
Trades
A trade offer puts items from your listings, and optionally some cash, against another member's listing. Offers stay open for five days and then expire.
If a trade includes a cash difference, the member who owes it is charged to their saved card when the trade is accepted, and the full amount goes to the other member. If that charge fails, the trade is not accepted.
Fig Plug charges 10% on a trade, the same as on a sale. Each member pays 10% of what they receive, valued at the listed prices, plus any cash coming to them. It is charged to each member's saved card when the trade is accepted, so both sides need a card on file. If either charge fails, the trade is not accepted and any cash is refunded.
Once a trade has first been accepted or declined, it can change direction at most twice in total, counting both members: withdrawing, reinstating, backing out, or accepting after a decline. After that it's locked until its window closes.
Backing out of an accepted trade refunds any cash difference and cancels the shipping labels. Once either parcel has shipped, the trade can't be undone through the site. Message the other member and contact us instead.
Both members must ship within the Shipping Policy timelines, with tracking. Fig Plug does not hold traded items in escrow. We resolve problems using tracking, messages and each account's history.
Replicas, custom work and authenticity
Anything that isn't a genuine product of its original manufacturer must be listed under Replica Figures and described as a replica. Replicas must not carry LEGO® logos or other brands' trademarks, and must not be packaged or presented as genuine. Selling counterfeits is prohibited.
Printed, painted and custom figures must be described that way. Say whether a custom uses genuine parts, third-party parts, or both.
If an item is listed as official and turns out not to be, the buyer is entitled to a full refund, including return shipping, paid by the seller.
Prohibited items and conduct
You may not use Fig Plug to:
- sell counterfeit goods, or anything that infringes someone else's trademarks, copyrights or designs
- sell stolen goods, or items you don't have in hand
- sell anything that is illegal to sell or ship in the United States
- use photos you didn't take and don't have permission to use
- pay or get paid outside Fig Plug for a deal that started here
- harass, threaten or abuse other members
- create fake accounts or reviews, or manipulate search, bids, prices or trades
Payments outside Fig Plug
Keep deals on the site. Payments made outside Fig Plug aren't covered by refunds, shipping labels or our help if something goes wrong. Asking for them can get an account removed.
Messages
Conversations between members sit in the same thread as order updates: payment, shipping, refunds and trade decisions. That way both sides are looking at the same record. We may review messages to settle disputes, prevent fraud or enforce these terms.
Refunds and disputes
A seller can refund an order in full until a shipping label has been created. After that, a partial refund can be issued at any time, but a full refund needs the item to be returned first.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds usually take 5–10 business days to show up.
Delivery problems are covered in the Shipping Policy, and damaged or not-as-described items in the Return Policy. If the buyer and seller can't agree, contact us. We'll review the order, the messages and the tracking, then make a decision. That decision settles the order on Fig Plug but doesn't limit any rights you have under law.
Releases
Release dates and times are shown by the countdown on the site and can change. A release may be delayed or taken offline, and quantities may be limited.
Content you post
You keep ownership of the photos and descriptions you post. You give Fig Plug a license to display, resize and use them to run and promote the marketplace, including after the item has sold.
Don't post anything you don't have the right to post.
Trademarks
LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. Other brand names belong to their owners. Fig Plug uses them only to describe the items listed.
Suspending or closing accounts
We can limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other members at risk, or exposes Fig Plug to legal or financial risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why. Open orders still have to be shipped or refunded.
You can close your account at any time once your open orders, trades and payouts are settled.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
Fig Plug is provided as is and as available. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free. Members write their own listings, and we don't guarantee that any listing is accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fig Plug isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
If someone brings a claim against Fig Plug because of something you listed, sold, or did in breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here with a new date. For significant changes we'll also tell you by email or on the site. If you keep using Fig Plug after that, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts for [County, State], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
